The Language lab of Perunthalaivar Kamarajar Arts College was set up and became functional on 21 April 2017. Under coordination of the Department of English, it is engaged in training the young minds in enhancing their spoken and written communication, with an objective to equip them to excel in their respective competitive fields. It trains students of all departments regularly.

The lab consists of 15 student consoles and a teacher console, from which students can be monitored. The sessions consist of constant guiding and clarifying. Interactive sessions make possible teachers' intervention in doubt clarification instantly. And the students are encouraged to move forward in their learning levels.

The Language lab serves a very meaningful purpose, especially amongst the rural youth that form a third of the strength of the college. Timely training in the language lab has helped many a student in recruitment process in their respective fields.
